1. Ethyl acetate
As a fast-drying solvent, it has efficient dissolution capabilities for nitrocellulose, vinyl resins, chlorinated rubber, etc., and is widely used in the production of paints, coatings diluents and adhesives. With a boiling point of 77℃ and moderate volatility, it can form a film quickly in the spraying process.
Furthermore, ethyl acetate has good miscibility with organic solvents such as acetone and ethanol. A composite solvent system can be prepared to optimize the dissolution effect.
2. Butyl acetate
Butyl acetate has a relatively high boiling point (126.1℃) and excellent solubility in epoxy resins and polyurethane resins. It is commonly used in high-solid-content coatings. Its chemical stability is strong and it does not decompose easily within the pH range of 6-8, making it suitable for processes requiring long-term solubility.
